In today's market performance is being measured in frequency, miliwats, and cubic inch. The demand for more performance in a smaller package with the same or lesser power is greater than ever. By selecting the smallest components available with equal performance and utilizing smart system design, AKA is able to develop modules with a very small form factor that optimize the amount of power necessary. Often AKA's miniaturized PRISMs, as small as 2"x2", can replace entire boards which leads to major space savings while significantly reducing the power requirements.

Switching existing functionality onto an AKA PRISM with guaranteed pin drop compatibility ensures that customers will not fall victim to obsolete parts. Through extensive life cycle management AKA is able to extend a 10-year guarantee on all of its modules. AKA will provide a functionally equivalent form factor fit part replacement to any module with obsolete IC. For example, if one or more of the components becomes obsolete AKA issues the qualified pin drop replacement that is completely interchangeable. Customers no longer need to redesign an entire system because one specific component is obsolete or requires a new replacement.
